Jo's Alcove, Jackalope Cabin, Tuesday Morning

Jo was sitting cross-legged on her bed, planning on new and exciting ways of annoying Hades when a snowflake drifted in the window, landing in her hair.

Suddenly it all made sense, everything! But they'd be coming after her as soon as they figured out she knew.

She'd have to take some precautions first. She started digging through her belongings.

"Without protection," Jo said. "You know, them, the demons!"

Dean frowned. "Has there been an attack or something?" he asked, eyes going immediately to the salt lines along the outside wall of the cabin.

"Not yet," Jo said. "But you never know when the next one will be. Especially now I've figured it out."

She put the shiny thing she'd been working on on her head. It was a tinfoil hat.

"Are you feeling okay, Jo?" Dean asked, staring at her.

"Never felt better," Jo replied. "Especially now I've figured it all out."

"Figured what out?" Even as he asked, Dean had a sinking feeling that he probably didn't want to hear the answer.

"How to defeat the demons," Jo replied happily. "Well, how you and Sam defeat the demons."

"Okay, I'll bite. How do Sammy and I defeat the demons?"

[wannabehunter]

"Well, y'know, when you, y'know, with each other." Jo was blushing just a little. "But don't worry, just because society at large would condemn you for, it doesn't mean I do."

Dean shook his head slowly. "'Fraid I don't know what 'y'know' means, sweetheart."

Jo made a very obscene gesture. "Y'know."

She couldn't be suggesting that. "Uh, no?"

"It's okay that you don't want to admit it, Dean," Jo said solemnly. "After all, if the demons knew you'd already figured it out, they'd be coming for you."

She paused then added. "Next time you and Sam, y'know, can I watch?"

She did, indeed, seem to be suggesting that. "Jo," Dean began patiently, "Sammy's my little brother."

"Good thing too," Jo said. "Because if he was your sister, there be all those risks associated with that, genetic disorders and all."

"You've lost it," Dean declared.

"No, I found it!" Jo countered. "Of course this means they'll be coming after me now. Hence the hat."
