Coming slowly awake, Jo realised that something was wrong. She wasn't quite sure what, just that something was.

Like the bed was smaller, and her clothes were tighter.

And her chest was...flatter.

Frowning, she lifted up the sheet.

"The hell?"

Luke tossed a pillow at her.

Jo grinned and threw it back at him.

"I should never have let you talk to my friends," Luke teased.

"But they'd just have talked to Artoo if I wasn't there, and he has video."

"...point," Luke said. "Wonder if I should delete those before going home for good."

"You really think he would let you?"

Luke thought about it. "Maybe?"

"Really?"

"He wouldn't be happy about it, but droids are supposed to get their memories wiped," Luke said. "He can't be carrying around all of his flight data from every battle he and my dad were in."

Good luck explaining this to Artoo, Luke.

Jo considered this for a moment. "Good luck with that. Save me a ticket for when you try."

Luke reached over to ruffle Jo's hair. "I'll do that."

"I'll even bring popcorn," Jo offered, grinning.

Luke leaned into kiss her without thinking and got about halfway there. "Um. Thanks."

Jo smiled and briefly bumped her forehead against his. "You're welcome."

"Yeah, this is strange," Luke admitted.

"Don't worry, I'll be back to normal before you even notice, I'll bet."

"It's Fandom," Luke said. "It'll wear off."

Beat.

"I hope."

"Look on the bright side, if it doesn't, the look on your dad's face will make everything worth it."

He burst out laughing. "One more shock might kill him," he said.

"I'm sure he'd embrace us with open arms," Jo said, in as innocent tone as she could manage.

It worked better when her voice hadn't dropped.

Luke laughed harder. "He's known for his flexibility, after all."

Jo nodded. "Oh totally."
